Great Service Experience

Dear Tim,

                 Several weeks ago, I purchased a new 2011 FX2 from Gentilini Motors but unfortunately, due to a large leak, I was forced to return it for repair just a few days later. Upon arriving for my service appointment, I was greeted by Mike Gavenda, he assured me that the service department would identify the cause of the problem. Mike even took me to introduce me to Rick "poo" Schweibenz, the technician assigned to my truck, no other service department had even done this, a nice touch. Over the next 4 hours, these two gentleman helped me set my concerns aside by keeping me updated as to what was being done along with the results being realized. They seemed to work as a team to solve the problem and to keep my calm, after hearing that the fender of my truck would have to be removed. Not something I wanted to hear. They made me feel confident in the as a whole and if the rest of the service personnel are anything like them Gentilini has a winning team. Even thought it was getting late on a Friday afternoon and probably near the end of a long day, they made me feel like my truck was the most important job of their day. I know that it was just another truck to them but it is a very special truck to me. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice the congenial yet business like atmosphere in the waiting area. There was no foul language, no disparaging remarks and no complaining, what I did notice was a sincere desire to help the customer. In conclusion, both mike and Poo should be applauded, for the Herculean efforts which they brought to bear on my situation. It is because of them, that even though your dealership is over an hour from my home, I will continue to bring my truck to Gentilini Ford for all of its service requirements.
